Returns & Exchanges Policy

1. Return & Exchange Window

If you are not entirely satisfied with your rented furniture, you may request a return or exchange within 7 days of delivery. Requests made after 7 days will be subject to our standard Early Termination terms outlined in your rental agreement.

2. Condition of Rented Furniture

To be eligible for a return or exchange, the rented furniture must be in its original, unaltered condition and free from permanent alterations, modifications, or severe wear. Normal wear and tear is expected, but items must not have permanent damage, stains, or structural alterations. You must provide the original rental contract and invoice.

3. Fees and Deductions (Change of Mind)

For returns or exchanges not related to product defects (e.g., change of mind, size mismatch):

• Pickup & Shipping Fees: The customer is fully responsible for all return shipping costs or scheduled pickup fees.
• Restocking Fee: A restocking fee of 25% of the first month’s rent will be deducted from your refund.
• Damage/Cleaning Fees: If the returned item shows signs of wear, stains, or damage, we reserve the right to deduct exact repair or professional cleaning costs from your refund or security deposit.

4. Defective or Damaged Items

If your furniture arrives defective or damaged, you must notify us at info@bardfurniture.com within 48 hours of delivery, accompanied by clear photos of the issue. Upon verification, we will arrange a free replacement or return, and Bard Furniture will cover all related logistics costs.

5. Refund Processing

Returns within the 7-day window are considered an early termination of your rental contract. Refunds (minus applicable shipping, restocking, and damage fees) will be processed to your original payment method within 7-10 business days after we have received and inspected the furniture.

6. Governing Law & Exclusive Jurisdiction

These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California for the resolution of any disputes.
